The Hub

The Hub

The Hub is a community resource that provides a range of services, activities and meeting spaces for people of all ages. Our aim is to provide recreational, learning, business and social activities, which are accessible.

Based just inside the ‘Old Hall’ we provide a base where community groups and individuals can meet and learn new skills, meet new friends and feel part of the community.

We have a number of existing activities, but are always open to suggestions for groups and courses.

Our activities include:

Book Exchange – Adult and Children’s book available

Cooking on a Budget - planning and organising meals for the family

Cooking Together – parents and children making meals

Everyday Maths - maths skills for life

Everyday Literacy – practical reading, writing skills

ESOL – English as a Second language

Managing Money – how to budget using a variety of activites

Marnel Tots – Parents with babies and toddlers meet up

Marnel Grandparents- A chance for grandparents to meet up
