Marnel Junior School

Cambridge Class

We currently have 27 children in our class.  Our teacher is called Mrs Wilkins.  We have all settled well into Y4 and are enjoying learning to play the violin in our music lessons on Mondays.  Tuesday and Thursday are our PE days.  Our class reader is called ‘Giant’ and is about a boy called Anzo who is very short.  This fits in with out first project – How do I see myself?  We will be writing a short auto-biography and designing and making a soft toy, as well as learning about healthy food choices and our digestive system.

Most interesting moment so far was when we found a large spider during our maths lesson.  Mrs Wilkins bravely caught it and we took it outside and found it a new home in a bush where it wouldn’t get trodden on!

We talk a lot about growth mindset and learning behaviours and strive to be the best that we can through teamwork and encouragement.
