Marnel Junior School

Although PSHE is a non-statutory subject, the National Curriculum framework document states that “all schools should make provision for personal, social, health and economic education.” Schools are expected to use PSHE to build on the statutory guidance on: drug education, financial education, sex and relationships and the importance of physical activity and diet for a healthy lifestyle.

As a school we have decided to trial the excellent PSHE programme designed by jigsaw puzzle. Jigsaw puzzle perfectly connects the pieces of Personal, Social and Health Education, emotional literacy, social skills and spiritual development into an easy to use lesson-a-week programme. Check out the website link below to find out more.

***For the safety of all children at Marnel, we would ask parents/carers not to stop/park on the yellow zig-zag lines outside of school. ***Thank you to all of the families who donated to our #helloyellow mufti day.
