The Hub is a community resource that provides a range of services, activities and meeting spaces for people of all ages. Our aim is to provide recreational, learning, business and social activities, which are accessible.
Based just inside the ‘Old Hall’ we provide a base where community groups and individuals can meet and learn new skills, meet new friends and feel part of the community.
We have a number of existing activities, but are always open to suggestions for groups and courses.
Our activities include:
Book Exchange – Adult and Children’s book available
Cooking on a Budget - planning and organising meals for the family
Cooking Together – parents and children making meals
Everyday Maths - maths skills for life
Everyday Literacy – practical reading, writing skills
ESOL – English as a Second language
Managing Money – how to budget using a variety of activites
Marnel Tots – Parents with babies and toddlers meet up
Marnel Grandparents- A chance for grandparents to meet up
Stoller Stroll - a walk around the area with (or without!) your buggy
